For 2015 we thought it was about time we introduced you to the people behind the organisation, today we have the graphic designer, Brendan Ashbrook aswering our profile questions for you.
48 (…going on 78)
Morning or afternoon?
Ideally night. So maybe late afternoon? Or very early morning?
Moules frites (mussels and chips) with lots of Belgian beer.
Apple or Android?
Best kept secret:
That it took me about three hours to fill in this profile. Also that I have been given the same nickname by several people at different times in different towns so, worryingly, there must be something in it. I’m not saying what it is.
Tea or coffee?
Best movie of all time?
Depends – “The Seventh Seal” or “Winter Light” by Ingmar Bergman if I’m in a film buff mood. It’s “The Go Between” for best all round film – runner up would be “The Duellists”.
Walk or run?
Too many. If I was being truthful it would be Jethro Tull but the hip answer is “The Advisory Circle”. They sound like the backing music from those sinister public information films from the 1970s. (Being old, I remember these well.)
Hot or cold?
What could you not live without? (not who!)
My guitars. Or possibly peanut butter.
What are you reading at the moment?
Danubia: A Personal History of Habsburg Europe by Simon Winder.
Dinner or Tea?
Tea (by ‘eck).
What’s your first memory?
Starting to fill this in (about three hours ago).
Sweet or savoury?
What or who inspires you?
Graphic designer – Josef Muller-Brockmann.
